GAUGER is designed to capture actual data in the production process, which is an essential step towards digitizing it. In many cases, getting data from an existing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or connecting
a manual machine with no intelligent communication
is necessary. Here, GAUGER offers itself as a simple and effective solution.
Thanks to wireless connectivity, connecting devices in operation can be considerably faster. GAUGER is, therefore, equipped with a WiFi module.
Most industrial equipment operates at 24 V. GAUGER can be powered by various voltages, including 24 V. The range is extensive, from 9 V up to 28 V.
Connecting to a specific device often offers two basic options:
GAUGER solves both possibilities by communicating over Ethernet or reading industrial 24 V logic signals using standard inputs (NPN and PNP).
A manufacturing plant optimizes its automated production line by monitoring performance and collecting data from various deployed PLCs.
A small workshop wants to digitize its processes and monitor manual machines to improve production monitoring and maintenance.
A manufacturing plant's PLC system does not support Modbus for reading values, and modifying its code is impossible. However, data must be collected for production reporting and process optimization.
The GAUGER web interface makes setting various parameters to optimize its operation easy and intuitive. The user can enter the name of the installation, configure Ethernet and WiFi network settings, and deactivate the WiFi access point as needed. It is also possible to set the digital filter timing for the 4 inputs in detail, which includes specifying the time for switching to ON and OFF states in milliseconds. This ensures maximum flexibility and adaptability of the device to specific user requirements and conditions.
GAUGER provides a powerful and flexible API that allows easy management and integration of devices into different systems. Using the API, you can quickly check the device's availability, retrieve and update its configuration, upload new firmware versions, and even revert to previous versions. You can also reboot the device, restore factory settings, reset counters, and access the latest logs and metadata. These features ensure you can fully control and customize GAUGER to your needs, making it an indispensable tool for modern industrial applications.
